Visitors to the exciting and romantic city of
Paris can be overwhelmed by all there is to see and do. An organized tour can be helpful, both for fitting in as much as possible if time is limited, and also for the knowledge of a helpful local expert who can provide insights into the history and culture of local attractions. In addition to guided city tours by bus or minibus, there are a number of specialized tours which visitors enjoy.
The Seine River Cruise is a popular tour; visitors enjoy gliding by such landmarks as the
Eiffel Tower,
the Louvre, and
Notre Dame, as well as numerous historic bridges and quays. Seine River Cruises have the option to include a gourmet multi-course dinner on board the boat.
The Paris Hop-On Hop-Off Tour is a
two-day pass to a fleet of open-top double-decker bases that provide transport and recorded commentary as they make their way around Paris. Stops include the Louvre, Notre Dame, Tour Eiffel,
Trocadero, and Champs Elysees-Etoile.
Although it is not a guided tour, the
Paris Pass is an incredible value for visitors to the city. The Pass allows free entry into more than 60 museums and attractions, including the
Arc de Triomphe, Louvre,
Musee d'Orsay, and
Musée Grévin. Free public transport, wine tasting, and shopping offers are also included in the Pass.
