CONCERTS

The city of Paris is an excellent destination for music lovers, as there are hundreds of live music venues with constantly changing performances from classical to jazz to rock and roll. For an exciting evening or a romantic date, tickets to a live music concert can be the perfect outing.

One of the largest and most popular concert venues is the Palais Omnisport Paris-Bercy, an architecturally modern grass-covered pyramid located on the east side of Paris. The 'Bercy' has seating for up to 17,000 guests and regularly hosts world class musical talent of the likes of Madonna, U2, Tina Turner and the Rolling Stones.

Le Bataclan, in the 11th arrondissement, started its existence in 1864 as a theater with a Chinese pagoda façade, and now seats up to 1,500 people for musical concerts, comic theater, and the occasional dance night.

A former haunt of famous painter Toulouse-Lautrec, Le Divan du Monde (9th arrondissement) hosts many punk, indie rock, hip hop, New Wave and fusion electro musical acts. This venue seats up to 450 people.

Le Zénith, located in the 19th arrondissement, seats up to 6,400 people and is favored by top musicians looking to perform in a more intimate venue.

Founded in 1807, the landmark L'Elysée Montmartre in the Pigalle district hosts everything from top rock acts to ballroom dancing with a full orchestra.
