Clothing Tips for Women:
What you will pack depends on which time you are visiting Paris. Paris has an occasional brush with drizzling or down pouring in winter season. You may also experience snow fall. So, if you are considering a winter visit, pack your warm clothes, coat, a pair of socks and boots. Along with sweaters and other warm outfits, it is also important for you to carry an umbrella and a rain coat.
Visiting Paris in summer season means you have lot of dressing options instead of covering yourself from head to toe. Jeans, trousers, T-shirts are comfortable during summer period. However, it is better to leave your short dresses at home. There is no such restriction on women’s dress code but you will find only a few flaunting a smart look in short dresses on the street of Paris. I do hope that you will not like feeling out of places there.
Belts and scarves are among other ‘must-pack’ items. Match-thing is not a hard and fast rule in the French capital, looking fashionable is what matters the most for the Parisians. And as far the color code is concerned, black is a safe choice.
Other things to pack
Most of the women love to wear matching accessories. Slip a few sets in the pocket of your suitcase. Go for sleek jewelries and avoid heavy wear. Though there are a lot of pharmacy stores in Paris, still better to carry the essentials. If you are suffering from high blood pressure and/or sugar, don’t forget to pack medicines. Also carry the prescription in your bag so that you can get medicines from the Parisian stores if needed. Among other stuffs to pack, the most important are soap, hair conditioner, hair drier, tooth brush, toothpaste, perfume, sunscreen, sanitary pads, and make-up box. Keep these things in a separate bag so you can get them easily whenever required.
